I drive from Dubai Hills to Abu Dhabi four times a week for work, and with summer around the corner I'm starting to get nervous about my battery giving up on the highway or at a rest stop. My current one is about two years old and seems fine but I've heard that long commutes in extreme heat can kill batteries faster than usual, especially if the alternator isn't in top shape. A colleague mentioned that instead of waiting for a breakdown, I should be proactive and get a full health check plus a replacement if needed. I found a place advertising Proficient Battery Replacement DubaiHills Estate that comes to you and apparently uses the exact 55D23L spec for Japanese cars like mine. Has anyone here used them for a pre summer check up rather than an emergency call? I'm also curious if upgrading to a higher CCA rating than stock would help with those 6am cold starts in the winter or if that's overkill. Just trying to avoid being that person stuck on the side of the road in July.
