I'm hoping some car audio people can chime in here. I've got a 2017 Toyota Prado that I've put a modest sound system in, nothing crazy, just an amp and a subwoofer. Lately I've noticed my headlights dim when the bass hits hard, especially at idle. My current battery is about three years old and probably due anyway. I've been looking at Optima batteries because I've heard they handle deep cycling better than regular ones. I found a place that does the High-Quality Optima Battery Installation Service for Battery Zone UAE and I'm trying to decide between the red top and yellow top. I know red top is for starting and yellow top is for deep cycle, but my car is driven daily so the alternator keeps it charged. Do I really need a yellow top if I'm not running the stereo with the engine off? The dimming lights make me think the battery can't supply enough instant current when the amp demands it. Would a red top solve that or do I need a yellow? Also does anyone know if the Prado has enough alternator output to keep an Optima happy? I've heard they need a higher charging voltage than regular batteries. Don't want to spend the money only to have it undercharge and fail early. Any advice from people running Optima in a Toyota SUV would be great. Thanks in advance.

I've been facing a similar issue with my car audio, and it's great to see you're exploring Optima batteries for a solution. I've found that the 2888 Pak Download of mobile games can drain my battery faster than I expected. I've been using my phone to play games while driving, and the battery would struggle to keep up, causing my headlights to dim 2888 download . I've been looking into Optima batteries to handle this better. Have you considered the 2888 Pak Download feature on your phone might be contributing to your battery drain? Perhaps switching to lighter games or turning off the 2888 Pak Download could help alleviate the issue before investing in a new battery.
