Fuel scarcity: PMS sells for N175, N190 in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.

As fuel scarcity persist and articulated tankers
lingering along corridors of Second Rainbow to Sunrise, Apapa/Oshodi expressway, some filling stations in Mile 2, Amuwo Odofin local government area of Lagos state sell the commodity at N190 per litre.
Mile2Comnews confirmed this after visits to some filling stations in Amuwo Odofin on Thursday. Based on our findings, only NNPC filling station at Apple junction is selling premium motor spirit (PMS) at N169 per litre as official price.
While many others filling stations have adjusted their pump prices like Peridot Oil & Gas at Festac Link bridge sell at N175 per liter, MRS, at Festac Link bridge, Tech Oil at 22 Road sell N180 per litre, and MRS at 6th Avenue sell N190 per litre.
Although, there were no many queues, besides the fact that PMS now sells at unofficial prices, in some filling stations in Amuwo Odofin local government area.
While speaking with Supervisor of NNPC station around Apple junction said, NNPC still maintain standard and official price of N169/litre.
He said, we can't adjust or change the price without directive from appropriate authority.
Reacting to this development, Okada rider, said, MRS at 6th Avenue Festac Town selling PMS N190 per liter while MRS at Apple Junction, selling N180 per litre, adding still surprise why the price not the same from MRS, in the same locations with different pump price
Danfor Driver, Segun Michael Daramola, lamented to Mile 2ComNews that most filling stations around Amuwo Odofin, sell between N175 and N190 per litre. He said: "this is affecting their commercial activities because the price is not stable."
